God is calling me closer
to hear what He's saying,
To open my ears
to hear as I'm praying,
in the still of the night
I hear it so softly,
A small voice, a whisper,
and maybe His calling.
When I walk along
the pathway of life,
I can't help but see
how close you are to me.
I know you are not far,
as many might say,
but ever so close
to hear when I pray.
I'm available Lord
and I answer your call,
and I promise you this,
that I'll give you my all,
Whatever the cost,
whatever the course,
there's no looking back
nor any remorse.
